Instructions:
1. Shut off the water supply: Locate the shut-off valve underneath the sink or in the basement. Turn the valve clockwise to shut off the water supply.
2. Remove the handle: Unscrew the handle of the faucet to access the packing nut.
3. Remove the packing nut: Use the adjustable wrench to loosen the packing nut and remove it.

5. Clean the packing nut: Clean the packing nut thoroughly to remove any dirt or debris.
6. Install the new washer: Apply a new washer to the packing nut. Make sure the washer is seated correctly.
7. Replace the packing nut: Screw the packing nut back onto the packing nut. Tighten the nut until it is snug.
8. Reattach the handle: Screw the handle back onto the faucet. Tighten the handle until it is snug.
9. Turn on the water supply: Open the water supply valve and turn on the faucet.
