Materials:
- Fabric (cotton, linen, or synthetic)

Instructions:
1. Choose a Pattern (Optional):
- If you don't have a pattern, you can freehand the design on the fabric.
- Use a ruler to mark the desired size and shape of the handbag.
2. Cut the Fabric:
- Cut the fabric to the following dimensions:
- Base fabric: 2 times the desired width of the handbag
- Lining fabric: 1.5 times the width of the base fabric
- Handles: 2 times the width of the base fabric
3. Sew the Base Fabric:
- Fold the base fabric in half lengthwise and sew the edges together, leaving a 2-inch opening for turning.
- Turn the bag right side out and press flat.
4. Attach the Lining Fabric:
- Place the lining fabric inside the base fabric, right sides together.
- Sew the edges together, leaving a 1-inch opening for turning.
- Turn the bag right side out and press flat.
5. Attach the Handles:
- Fold the handles to the desired length and sew them to the inside of the bag, leaving a 1-inch opening for turning.
- Turn the handles right side out and press flat.
6. Attach the Strap:
- Cut a piece of strap fabric that is 2 times the desired width of the bag.
- Fold the strap in half lengthwise and sew the edges together, leaving a 1-inch opening for turning.
- Turn the strap right side out and press flat.
- Insert the strap into the opening in the handle and sew it in place.
7. Finishing Touches:
- Hand-stitch any loose threads.
- Wash the bag by hand in cold water with a mild detergent.
- Iron the bag flat before using.

- Use a consistent fabric weight and thickness throughout the bag.
- Match the pattern and design closely to the original design.
- Sew slowly and carefully to ensure accurate stitching.
- Use a sewing machine for precision stitching.
